This shirt emphasizes on the Partition of Punjab which is a very overlooked part of the 1947 independence of India. At this time millions of people were displaced, and millions more were killed. Half of Punjab was given over to make Pakistan, with Punjabis having little to no say in the matter.

This shirt is made with Orange & Green, the colors of the Indian flag that supposedly represents the Punjabi people, & black in recognition of these dark times. It includes a line-art map of India (in black), Pakistan (left portion in green), whats left of Punjab (in orange), and what was further split off from Punjab (right two green portions). The overall colored line-art demonstrates the size of the Punjab homeland before the partition, a large butterfly shaped size of land, being reduced to a tiny slice of its original glory.
